Integration and Manufacturing is a group that takes all the information the team collects through the other subgroups and turns it into a competition-ready plane. We utilize software like SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and AutoCAD to design the plane. Tools like objective trees and Gannt charts are used to make sure we are keeping true to our goals and time constraints. We use technologies like laser cutting, 3D printing, composites, and basic carpentry to build a plane that can function at its highest potential. A variety of different manufacturing processes are used because we are always looking for ways to make the process better, faster, and easier.
